It was a good omen during the Atikulated Global Movement Southwest Interdenominational Prayer held to seek the favour and grace of supreme being for the electoral victory of H.E, Atiku Abubakar at the polls on Saturday. The event held at the Felicia Hall of the iconic Jogor Centre on Sunday, 19th of February 2023, witnessed the coming together of temporal and spiritual figures in both the Islamic and Christian faiths.
The AGM National Coordinator , Hon. Bolanle Aliyu-Sarumi , BASA , in her opening speech on behalf of the entire leadership of AGM, welcomed all ” Party Leaders, Candidates, Clergymen, all partners, Religious Leaders, Leaders and Members of PDP’s Support and Volunteer Groups here present, as well as all AGM’s Members from their various voting points across Southwest Geopolitical Zone”. BASA equally set the tone for the celestial event, by highlighting the strength in ” praying corporately and trusting God to constantly shower His sustainable grace and mercy on our Iconic Presidential Candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON, and His Vice Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, and their families, as well as all Leaders, Gubernatorial Candidates, Senatorial Candidates, House Of Representatives Candidates, States’ Assemblies Candidates, and all Members of our great party that will perform significant roles in the forthcoming elections”.
The PDP chieftain equally called ” on God to mobilize His angels that excel in strengths to dislodge and demobilize all plans and conspiracy of wicked men (women) to perpetrate all forms of bloody crimes, rigging, and pandemonium on, during, and after elections”.
The event proper witnessed a massive attendance where a celestial ambience was created with songs and prayers offered to God for Atiku’s victory on Saturday.
Dignitaries that attended include, a chieftain of the party, Engr Femi Babalola, CEO , Jogor Centre Ibadan, who contributed immensely to the realisation of the event , necessitating him to be adopted as the AGM SouthWest patron; Sir Moraks, another AGM patron; Oba Mohammed O. Balogun Sarumi, AGM National Chief Strategist and Chieftain of the PDP; the Assistant State Coordinator of the AGM, Hon. Kazeem Oshoniyi; Alh. Saheed , AGM South West Coordinator, and a host of other important participants too numerous to mention especially aspirants from the last PDP primaries.
The event ended with a blessed assurance with seraphic presence conveying the message of an assured victory for the Wazirin Adamawa on Saturday.
