The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidates and Aspirants have been urged by the political organization Atikulated Global Movement to merge as a single party in order to win the general election in 2023.
At the movement’s inauguration in Abuja, Hajiya Maryam Atiku-Abubakar, the group’s national leader, said as much.
She pointed out that in order to forward the party’s mission to rebuild the country, candidates and aspirants needed to build a powerful force.
As we gather here today to reflect on the theme of this event, we should all remember that from the lowest office to the highest, with the new electoral act, we are connected in victory and defeat. We must go back to our units and wards and ensure that we come together, pull resources together, and ensure that PDP is successful at all levels,”
